New Hampshire travel is fun to plan:  here are some trip ideas and fun destinations.

New Hampshire has a little something for everybody.  Sports fans will get into the NASCAR racing and professional hockey and baseball, as well as exciting greyhound and thoroughbred racing.

Festivals and fairs bring family fun throughout the year, like Oktoberfests, Maple Weekend in spring, strawberry festivals in June or agricultural fairs.  Quality theme parks and amusement parks have water slides, music shows, carousels and more.  Wildlife centers and nature parks appeal to all ages.

Summer theatres and music festivals are great for those who love the performing arts; and art shows and galleries abound.  Historical and heritage festivals range from colonial reenactments to Greek festivals to Berlin’s Festival du Bois.

Museums and historic sites cover art, architecture, skiing, science, Native American life, sculpture, even the home of the fourteenth President of the United States.

If you’re a serious shopper, you’ll be pleased to enjoy tax-free shopping whether you’re antiquing, browsing an old-fashioned five and dime, or perusing a major mall or factory outlet.  Roadside galleries and sophisticated shops feature the work of local artists.

The Granite State has a distinct and varied landscape, including the seacoast, Merrimack River valley, lakes, northern woods, and the most climbed North American mountain, Mt. Monadnock.  The landscape invites you to enjoy year round adventures:  skiing, fishing, biking and hiking, camping, nature watching, mountain climbing, boating...if you can think of it, you can probably do it here.
